Baptiste Giabiconi and Barbara Palvin to pose for Karl Lagerfeld perfume

The rumor had been swelling since Baptiste Giabiconi posted a selfie with the Hungarian supermodel. Now the brand has officially confirmed the pair as the stars of the couturier's next fragrance campaign.

While the reappointment of Baptiste Giabiconi hardly comes as a surprise (the French singer and model is Karl Lagerfeld's protégé and a regular Chanel collaborator), the choice of Barbara Palvin is less expected, as she has never before posed for the Kaiser.

There is no way to find out more about the campaign for the time being, other than that it will be ultra-chic. The selfie taken at the shoot shows the two models in sophisticated attire: a tuxedo for him and a sequined little black dress for her. 

The first campaign for the Karl Lagerfeld perfume, revealed in early 2014, included rather sensual shots of an unclothed Baptiste Giabiconi next to the brunette Kati Nescher.

This second series of advertisements is due to launch in summer 2015, according to the brand.
