Baselworld 2015 to showcase latest luxury watch and jewelry trends

In just over a month, the world's most prestigious watch and jewelry brands will converge on Basel, Switzerland to reveal their latest innovations, providing an overview of the trends on the horizon.

After Geneva's Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie (SIHH) in January, the watch and jewelry world is gearing up for the highlight of the year: Baselworld 2015.

Around 1,500 brands will send representatives to the Swiss city from March 19 to 26 to unveil their latest collections and their new innovations, both in terms of styling as well as mechanisms and complications.

The exclusive trade show is nothing short of a showcase for the latest trends, not only in the watchmaking world but also in the luxury jewelry sector. Particular emphasis is placed on brokers of pearls, diamonds and other precious gemstones.

Across the 141,000 square meter exhibition space of the Messe Basel venue, watch manufacturers will exhibit alongside haute couture and even ready-to-wear fashion houses. Festina, Guess, Puma, Boucheron, Fendi, Hermès, Dior, Chanel, Burberry, Versace, Hublot, Rolex, Chopard, Blancpain, Tissot, Omega and Oris are among the brands slated to attend.

Open only to industry professionals, Baselworld 2015 takes place from March 19 to 26 in Basel, Switzerland.
