Benetton opens first outlet in Senegal

Following an recent opening in Morocco, Benetton opens outlet's new doors on July 8 in Senegal. A store devoted to childrenswear which covers 150 square metres in Seaplaza, a Dakar shopping center. Two other openings (Sisley and Playlife) will follow in autumn-winter 2010/2011 in a new department store also in the Senegalese capital.

Benetton continues to develop throughout the African continent (Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, South Africa and Mozambique) where it thanks its presence to partnerships*. Next autumn, it will be Algeria and the Ivory Coast's turn to host the brand with two openings.
*In Senegal, Benetton's partner company relies upon the Kawar family; very active in the country and on the Ivory Coast within the clothing, furniture and textile decoration industry.
