Birchbox announces two new executive hires

Birchbox on Wednesday announced two appointments to its executive team. Terre Layton has been hired as Global Vice President of Product Management and User Experience, and Fran Gaitanaros has been named Vice President of Creative.

 
Terre possesses over 20 years of experience in digital product management at Forture 500 companies including AOL and Netscape. She most recently worked at Sephora as head of front-end product management and led strategic digital innovation projects, in addition to consulting for beauty retailers and e-commerce companies.
 
As Global Vice President of Product Management and User Experience, Terre is responsible for global product management, product strategy and user experience.

Fran joins Birchbox from One Kings Lane where she served as Design Director. She also co-founded The NextBig Small Brand and The Rooster Design Group, where she served as creative director for a combined 17 years. In the position of Vice President of Creative, Fran leads visual communication, overseeing all visual design elements from pattern creation, monthly box designs, in-store signage, email, on-site design, video content and photography.
