Björn Borg makes two senior appointments

Björn Borg has named Jens Nyström as new finance chief as Daniel Grohman prepares to take up the position of business development director.
Both Nyström and Grohman will assume their new responsibilities in the autumn.
Nyström is an experienced financial professional, and was most recently chief financial officer at outdoor clothing firm Haglöfs. He also previously held a variety of senior finance roles at companies including biotechnology firm Amgen, household products manufacturer SC Johnson and tobacco company Philip Morris International.
“I am very happy to welcome Jens to Björn Borg. Jens will play an important role in the continuing development of the company and will fit perfectly into our team,” said CEO of Björn Borg, Henrik Bunge.
Nyström added: “It feels great to become a part of Björn Borg. I look forward to contributing to the company by strengthening the brand’s position as a fashion sports brand, and to be part of Björn Borg’s strong business culture.”
The underwear and sportswear brand is named after the Swedish former professional tennis player, widely considered to be one of the greatest in the history of the sport. The brand operates in 20 countries worldwide, and its largest markets are Sweden and the Netherlands.
