Bloomingdale’s opened its first Hawaiian store at the Ala Moana Center in O’ahu, Hawaii on November 12, 2015.
The three-level, 165,000-square-foot store serves as the centerpiece of Ala Moana Center’s retail expansion. The Ala Moana store will introduce a number of brands to Bloomingdale’s and will serve as an exclusive retailer for said brands.
The first floor of the Bloomingdale’s Ala Moana store houses cosmetics and fragrances as well as handbags, accessories, jewelry and shoes ranging from Burberry Beauty to Vince handbags to Carven shoes, handbags and ready-to-wear.
The women’s ready-to-wear department can be found on the second floor offering brands such as T by Alexander Wang, Eliza J, M Missoni, Iro.jeans, See by Chloé, and Vera Wang, which is also new to Bloomingdale’s and exclusive to the Ala Moana location. Luggage is also found on the second level.
Men’s apparel and accessories are located on the third level and include brands like APC, Billy Reid and Public School, shoes from Paul Smith, MCM, Vince and Y-3, and accessories from brands new to Bloomingdale’s like Coach, Salvatore Ferragamo sunglasses, Marni, Rhone and Smythson among others. Home furnishings are available on the third floor and round out the store offering.
Bloomingdale’s first announced the Ala Moana Center store in July.
