Blue Nile announces three executive leadership appointments

Blue Nile announced on Wednesday three additions to its executive team: Erin Daley as Chief Marketing Officer, David Fleischmann as Chief Product Officer and Jon Sainsbury as Chief Strategy Officer and President of International. The three executives will report to CEO Jason Goldberger.
 

Daley brings close to 20 years of marketing leadership experience to Blue Nile. She recently served as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer of E.l.f. Cosmetics, where she was responsible for driving brand awareness, social engagement, and innovation. Prior to her stint at E.l.f., she served as VP of Marketing for Schiff Nutrition and launched Crest Whitestrips, and developed Charmin Ultra Strong at Proctor & Gamble.
 
Fleischmann brings over 20 years of product innovation experience to Blue Nile, which he gained at Apple, Microsoft, Nokia and most recently Expedia. At Expedia, he served as VP of Global Product, and prior to joining the American travel company, he was Group Program Manager at Microsoft. In addition, he was part of the team that shipped the first generation iPhone.

Finally, 15-year veteran Sainsbury previously served as Chief Revenue Officer of Blue Nile, and prior to joining the company, he was an associate consultant with management consulting firm Bain & Company.

In his new role as Chief Strategy Officer and President of International, he will drive the diamond and jewelry retailer’s long-range strategic planning initiatives, as well as growth and development of the company’s global operations.
