Blushington opens first New York City flagship store
Makeup service and retail destination Blushington announced on Friday the opening of its first flagship New York City location on 1195 Lexington Avenue in the Upper East Side. The new store is the brand’s second New York City location.
Blushington partnered with global design firm RPG to design the new store, which features Blushington’s signature décor and Art Deco details. The store carries a curated assortment of niche beauty brands including Becca, Jouer and Julie Hewett that were specially selected by Founder and Chief Creative Officer Stephi Maron.
In addition, the new Blushington flagship store houses the signature Blushington Makeup & Beauty Lounge where expert makeup artists provide applications such as eyelash extensions, faux lash applications, and brow maintenance. Customers can also enjoy unlimited monthly services with Blushington's exclusive Carte Blush Membership.
Chief Executive Officer Natasha Cornstein, who joined the company in June, explained, "Today's modern woman values a luxury experience paired with artful curation. We've created an oasis for women of all ages to experience personalized makeup applications alongside expertly curated brands. Whether our customers are spending the afternoon with us, popping in for an express service, refreshing their makeup bag or discovering new brands, the Blushington experience is always rewarding."
The Los Angeles-based retailer named Cornstein CEO in June with the goal of expanding in New York City. Cornstein previously served as President of Blushington before being promoted to CEO.
The Blushington New York City flagship joins additional Blushington retail locations in West Hollywood and Topanga in California, Dallas, and in Midtown Manhattan.
