Brandalley sells UK subsidiary

Since the departure of Sven Lung, the team at the head of Brandalley, an online designer brand outlet store, has been committed to reviewing the company’s activity. According to our information, Brandalley UK – launched as part of a joint-venture with Rupert Murdoch’s NewsCrop – has recently been sold to a group of private investors. The company is expected to report annual revenue for 2012 of 35 million pounds against 2011 revenue of 28.9 million. It is believed that the investors paid no more than one to two million pounds for the acquisition of Brandalley.


In the second half of last year, Brandalley also put Adèle Sand up for sale - a French company that holds private sales in its Paris location. According to our information, the company has yet to find a buyer and for the moment Adèle Sand has been taken off the market.

Brandalley bought Adèle Sand from its founders Muryel Lanneau and Thibault Caillemer du Ferrage in 2007. The two remained at the head of the company until 2012, when they left Brandalley. The duo was replaced by Fabrice Dorr but the ex-Christian Dior Couture employee is no longer in office.

The two founders went on to create a new company together named Arlettie, organizing private sales for premium brands such as the Kooples and Sandro.
