Bread & Butter shifts back its January 2015 session

Essentially, it’s a very logical decision. Following the release of Pitti Uomo’s new dates, Bread & Butter had to make a decision, even more so because Karl-Heinz Müller respects the Florentine event and both shows focus on menswear. In 2015, the Bread & Butter will thus be held the week of January 19, one week later than usual - possibly Tuesday, January 20 to Thursday, January 22. It will be a jam-packed month: London Men’s Fashion Week held from January 10 to 12, followed by Pitti Uomo on the 13th to 16th, Milan from the 17th to 20th, and finally Paris from 21st to 24th - Who's Next starting on Friday January 23.

"We have always held our show a week after Pitti. Having overlapping dates does not make sense," says Bread & Butter sales director Alexander Kernlinger, recalling that January 6 (Epiphany) is a public holiday in Italy.

Meanwhile, Karl-Heinz Müller continues to prepare a South Korean edition of the show. News posted on the site entitled “BBB on the Road: Seoul” shows pictures of him with the mayor of Seoul, Park Won Soon and Jin Kim, manager of L.O.C.K, the space dedicated to authentic brands with a strong Asian presence.

According to the German press, a show in Seoul is planned for 2015 as opposed to fall of 2014, which was initially suggested. But in the trade show world, public announced ideas don’t always come to fruition. So be patient!
