Retail owners, operators and developers Cadillac Fairview has unveiled a cluster of new holiday experiences across its portfolio of 20 Canadian shopping centres.
“Nothing says it's the holidays quite like a trip to the mall, and we want each and every one of our guests to have an unforgettable experience when they step into a CF shopping centre this season," says Jason Anderson, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Cadillac Fairview, in a news statement.
Among the enhanced holiday features, Cadillac Fairview will introduce new holiday decor including sculptures ranging from 15-foot-tall floor pieces to LED reindeer and moose, Christmas trees, garland, and impressive giant walk-through ornaments located at mall entrances and throughout shopping centres.

Additionally, the shopping centres will unveil their own specially designed Christmas tree, highlighted by a colossal 100-foot-tall installation at CF Toronto Eaton Centre. CF Pacific Centre will debut a 40-foot-tall Christmas tree with the remaining six centres each showcasing 36-foot-tall Christmas trees for guests to enjoy.
Cadillac Fairview is also introducing shoppers to The Tufties - six fuzzy gift-loving animated creatures created by Cadillac Fairview - this holiday season. The Tufties are featured in a two-minute short film as well as in a new augmented reality mobile game called The Tufties Magic Gift App and online in an interactive digital experience called, The Tufties Gift Wrapping Academy
What’s more, Cadillac Fairview is introducing online registration for visits with Santa at 17 CF shopping centres. More enhanced holiday features can also be found at specific CF shopping centre locations.
