Cadillac Fairview unveils revitalized Ontario mall

Cadillac Fairview unveiled on Thursday the results of its $77-million investment at CF Masonville Place, located in London, Ontario. The year-long project consisted of a comprehensive revitalization of the 31-year-old shopping centre, including a new 127,000-square-foot expansion area.
 
"Cadillac Fairview is marking another milestone in our commitment to creating best-in-class retail experiences across our portfolio," says Finley McEwen, Senior Vice President, Development, Cadillac Fairview, in a news statement. "With a fashion-first and experience-led strategy, CF Masonville Place is significantly elevating the shopping experience and reinforcing its position as a leading retail and dining destination in South Western Ontario."

 
The redeveloped retail space spans two levels and occupies the former Sears location. The new space welcomes 13 new retailers and services, including the first ZARA in market, H&M, Hot Topic, NYX Cosmetics, as well as Sport Chek/Atmosphere. These are in addition to the ten retailers CF Masonville Place welcomed within the past year including Michael Kors, Brown's, Lindt, Saje, Lush, Ivivva, Kiehl's, Sephora, Freshii, as well as the first Disney Store in the region. New restaurant partners including The Keg Steakhouse + Bar (opening early 2017), aroma espresso bar, and others will also be new casual dining options.
 
What’s more, interior renovations and enhancements have been undertaken throughout the shopping centre including new porcelain floor tile and wall finishes, new glass and stainless steel handrails, as well as the addition of a new centre court staircase. These installations will be completed by December.
