Carolina Herrera opens Beverly Hills boutique

Carolina Herrera has opened a 4,000-square-foot ready-to-wear boutique on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, California.

The new store joins an existing Beverly Hills location, but this 4,000 square foot location features Carolina Herrera New York, while the previous one featured the CH lifestyle line.
CEO and president Francois Kress explained the reason for the second location, saying the brand is following the Rodeo Drive trend of grand flagship stores showcasing brand elements in a big way.
Kress said, "The new store is our response to the current conundrum surrounding luxury retail and will allow us to provide the most luxurious shopping experience."
Kress continued explaining that California represents the second largest market in the US for Carolina Herrera New York, both in sales and image, and that a Beverly Hills location will further the Puig owned label's success.
The CH store opened in 2013, but has also experienced success with its lifestyle focus.
Kress noted, "For both brands, celebrity association is critical and having prime retail locations in Beverly Hills is extremely helpful."
