Caruso: Marco Angeloni new COO

Caruso has named Marco Angeloni its new COO, the company has said in a statement. The Italian fashion house produces its own high-end menswear brand as well as men’s luxury collections for major international brands. The young executive has already worked for 5 years as director of business planning & development at the company, which is run by his father, Umberto Angeloni, who is also its majority shareholder.

Previously, Marco Angeloni, who holds an MBA from INSEAD in Fontainebleau/Singapore, worked in the financial sector for investment banks and at the luxury-focused strategy-consulting firm Bain & Co. 

He succeeds Emilio Giani Carbonera, who left Caruso at the end of March, the statement said without giving further details. The latter was hired in 2013 to what was at the time a newly created position.
