CF Toronto Eaton Centre launches fashion campaign

The CF Toronto Eaton Centre launched on Thursday its 2017 Reflections of Toronto Style campaign. The campaign, first launched in 2016, serves as a platform to showcase unique fashion in Toronto, but also as a platform for shoppers to engage with the shopping mall located in downtown Toronto.
 
Last year, the Toronto Eaton Centre specifically saw the #TorontoStyle hashtag became a way for shoppers to communicate with the centre and to learn about their lineup of retail offerings.

"CF Toronto Eaton Centre is the downtown style destination for Toronto," said Shelia Jennings, General Manager, Retail, CF Toronto Eaton Centre, in a news statement. "At CF TEC, we're focused on providing an elevated shopping experience for all our customers. The #TorontoStyle campaign is a living testament to our commitment to building vibrant communities, enabling consumers to make positive style choices that build confidence, while encouraging shoppers to remain true to themselves."
 
Similarly to last year’s campaign, the campaign will include several Canadian icons who will take part in a series of videos, print, OOH and social postings.

For the 2017 Reflections of Toronto Style campaign, the shopping centre partnered with fashion and gossip maven, Lainey Lui of LaineyGossip.com as the Eaton Centre’s newest Toronto Style Ambassador.
 
To celebrate the campaign launch, the Toronto Eaton Centre will also be home to six digital Style Mirrors from June 22 to the 24, which will allow shoppers to take selfie-like photos in front of uniquely iconic Toronto backdrops in order to showcase the diversity of some of the city's landmarks. 
 
The shopping centre has partnered with Zeba from @ellaprettyblog, Kaylee Giffin from @theblondielocks and Dani Goddard from @girlsofto to lead the Selfie Mirror Activation.
 
"This year CF Toronto Eaton Centre is celebrating its 40th Anniversary as an iconic landmark in downtown Toronto and we wanted to build an experience for the city that celebrates the unique fashion stories," said Craig Flannagan, Vice President Marketing, Cadillac Fairview. "The #TorontoStyle campaign is set to bring a continued conversation with our shoppers around what influences their style – these are the freshly curated content and social engagement opportunities we're looking to build on."
 
The CF Toronto Eaton Centre is located in downtown Toronto at 220 Yonge Street. It is owned by Cadillac Fairview.
