Chanel on Friday opened a jewelry boutique at Bergdorf Goodman. The dedicated boutique is the first from the French brand to open in a multi-brand retailer.
The 134-square-foot space carries Chanel’s fine jewelry pieces that start in price at $1,500 and range to over $50,000. The dedicated boutique was designed by architect Peter Marino, who designed other Chanel boutiques around the world, and it is located at Bergdorf’s newly renovated jewelry salon on the luxury retailer’s first floor.
Bergdorf Goodman unveiled its newly renovated jewelry salon in December as part of the 2020 Vision plan. The jewelry salon had not been renovated for 16 years.
The new, dedicated boutique is the second fine jewelry boutique to open in New York City joining a freestanding location at 733 Madison Avenue.
