CustomInk acquires Represent and its extensive celebrity network

CustomInk, maker of custom designed apparel and accessories, acquired Represent on February 4 to expand its reach via social media influencers. CustomInk plans to leverage Represent’s extensive social media presence and network of influences to expand operations.
Both companies produce custom-designed merchandise, including t-shirts, hats, bags and mugs among other items. Based in Fairfax, Virgina, CustomInk is a web-based platform that enables communities, teams and other organized groups to design and order customized t-shirts, baseball hats and bags, among other items. Represent is a Los Angeles-based company that that helps influencers, including actors, thought leaders, athletes and musicians among others, to create and sell limited-edition merchandise for charity or profit. High profile investors include Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary of Sound Ventures, James Franco and WME/IMG.
