Delta Galil finalizes acquisition of three brands from VF Corp

As announced in late June, Delta Galil Industries, the Israeli manufacturer and marketer of branded and private label apparel products, on Monday announced it has completed its acquisition of VF Corp's contemporary premium brands, including the businesses and brands of 7 For All Mankind, Splendid and Ella Moss.

Delta Galil, headquartered in Tel Aviv but with plants around the world, in May reported sales in line with expectations for its first quarter, with a sales increase attributed to the business performances in Europe and Israel.

7 for all Mankind is a globally known denim brand distributed worldwide whlile Splendid and Ella Moss are premium domestic sportswear brands. All three hail from California. VF Corporation's brand portfolio also includes The North Face, Vans, Timberland, Wrangler, Lee and Nautica.

With this transaction, VF Corp no longer holds any comtemporary brands in its portfolio.
