Diane von Furstenberg: Co-President Joel Horowitz leaves

Joel Horowitz, Co-President of Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) is no longer part of the company. The news, however, has not yet been confirmed by the American label.

Many thought that Horowitz' arrival would mean a stock market launch (IPO), but, according to sources quoted by the US media, the executive's departure is to be interpreted as the IPO now being off the table.

Joel Horowitz joined the group in 2012, after working notably for Ralph Lauren, Murjani International and Tommy Hilfiger.

Last April, Diane von Furstenberg strengthened its management team by appointing Italian manager Paolo Riva as CEO.

On that occasion Joel Horowitz commented: "When I joined DVF two years ago as Co-President my mandate was building a solid company infrastructure and finding a CEO to lead the organisation. With this appointment, we have achieved both objectives."
