Diesel finds its new Sales Director at Superdry
After Germany, Japan and the UK, Hans Schmitt is to adopt another country as his home. The executive, who will continue to serve as International General Manager at British Supergroup until 31 December 2014, will then take on the role of Executive Vice-President of Global Sales at Diesel.
Hans Schmitt will have spent less than two years on the management board at the parent company of Superdry. He was part of the Board of Directors as of his arrival in June 2013. His position, as International Sales Director, will be taken over by Flemming Jensen, former International Director of Triumph International.
Prior to SuperGroup, Hans Schmitt headed up the Warnaco Group’s commercial business across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, and was Senior Vice-President of Europe for Hugo Boss. Indeed, Schmidt spent twelve years at Hugo Boss, where he held a number of different positions in Europe and Asia, including Japan.
As of 1 January 2015, he will be under the eye of Alessandro Bogliolo, CEO of Diesel.
