DVF names Sarah Willersdorf as Chief Marketing Officer

Diane von Furstenberg announced Wednesday that it has named Sarah Willersdorf as Chief Marketing Officer. Willersdorf succeeds Eran Cohen who left the company in April 2015.

Willersdorf heads to DVF from The Boston Consulting Group where she most recently served as Partner and Managing Director. She joined the company in March 2006 as a consultant and held numerous positions during her nine-year stint with the company including Project Leader and Principal. Willersdorf is also a member of the Cosmetics Executive Women Board of Directors.

DVF Chief Executive Officer Paolo Riva told the American press that Willersdorf was hired to lead the company’s marketing division and create engaging consumer experiences.
