Electric: Etienne Pinon new European sales manager

Electric has just named a winter sports expert its new sales manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Etienne Pinon has joined the Kering-owned accessories brand, which specializes in sunglasses and snow goggles.

Since the end of 2013, Pinon served as head of sales for Europe at Neff. Previously he worked on the development of the skateboard shoe brand DVS at Podium Distribution and before that at Lapa Distribution in Europe from 2004 to 2013. He is also an ambassador of the Berlin skate and street trade show Bright.

"I would like to implement a strategy based on working in depth with action sports players in Europe," said Pinon. "I would firstly like to put together a team with existing partners and to reorganize in places such as in Scandinavia."

The sales team’s first task will thus be to strengthen Electric’s presence in retailers and key ski networks in France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Italy, Great Britain and Scandinavia. The brand, which was present in Lyon at Sport-Achat during its recent edition from March 9-11, will participate in the trade show Bright in Berlin in July. 

Electric should also soon see its European team, overseen by Anthony Cazottes, strengthened with the addition of a marketing director.
