Eric Pansier: new brand manager of Salomon

On July 7, Eric Pansier took up his post as brand manager at Salomon - that’s to say a few hours before the opening of the trade show OutDoor, which ran from July 10 to 13.

He succeeds Patrick Pons de Vier at the brand, owned by Amer Sports.

Pansier is well known in the aisles of the trade show Friedrichshafen. He has worked at The North Face since 2006, recently as vice president of marketing for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Before joining VF Corporation, he spent nearly ten years at the consumer goods giant Unilever.

At Salomon, his responsibilities will encompass various product categories, including shoes, clothing and equipment.
