Escada confides Asia-Pacific to Edith Chen

Escada looked for its Head of the Asia-Pacific zone at Escada. Edith Chen succeeds Morten Christensen, who arrived four years ago at the same time, or almost, as Bruno Sälzer, who he worked with for many years at Hugo Boss.

Edith Chen just spent fifteen years at Calvin Klein, where she developed the activities in Asia. Before that, though, from 1994 to 1999, she was the Brand Manager for Escada in Asia.

Back to her roots, so to speak. In addition, Escada is still looking for a new CEO, since the departure on December 1st of Bruno Sälzer for Bench. In the meantime, the position is being officially ensured by the executives and by Megha Mittal, the daughter-in-law of Indian steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal, who rescued the German womenswear label from liquidation in 2009.
