Esprit: Dieter Messner oversees EMEA excluding Germany
Dieter Messner has been chosen by Esprit to succeed Christophe Bezu, who officially left on March 31.
According to sources, Messner will oversee retail and wholesale for Europe/The Middle East/Africa, excluding Germany, the retail brand’s largest market, accounting for 44.7% of its business. Arndt Brockmann, the former head of Inditex-Germany, was chosen to oversee Germany in 2013.
Since 2008, Messner has served on the executive board of OBI, the DIY and gardening retailer, where he oversaw international sales.
