Eurazeo targets US companies

Eurazeo will open an office in New York in July 2016, with the objective of investing directly in US companies.

The investment fund, a shareholder in Desigual and Moncler, intends to focus on major operations similar to those of Eurazeo Capital, in industries where it enjoys a degree of expertise, notably those of consumer goods and business services.

"The US market is the world's top private equity market," underlined Eurazeo.

Eurazeo already operates an office in Shanghai, which is being strengthened, and since last year also one in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
