Faith Connexion and Sita Abellan launch capsule collection at Moxy Times Square hotel

Fashion platform Made and Moxy Hotels, Marriott International’s millennial-focused brand, unveiled on Thursday the Faith Connexion x Sita Abellan capsule collection at Moxy Times Square.

The one-night-only collection served as the first capsule for the Paris-based fashion label. Moxy Times Square hosted Faith Connexion's latest collection presentation, which featured the nine-piece capsule collection and the Faith Connexion spring 2018 collection. 

The Faith Connexion x Sita Abellan capsule collection featured tulle leggings, poplin minidresses, a black mesh and tulle robe that nods to Madonna in the 1980s, high-waisted stretch silk leather trousers, a black silk jumpsuit that is inspired by workman’s coveralls, mini cargo vests, motorcycle trousers and a metallic blue calfskin biker jacket with 2,500 studs that took 30 hours to apply. 

The hotel also housed a pop up shop that sold exclusive pieces, such as limited edition hoodies and Sita’s personal collection.

Led by Christophe Decarnin, Faith Connexion is described as a “creative tribe,” offering men’s apparel and women’s ready-to-wear. The label added model and DJ Sita Abellan to its list of collaborators, which currently includes Le H, Pisco, Vincent, P. Rioufol, and NTMB.
 
Faith Connexion is also the latest brand to partner with Abellan, joining Misbhv, which launched a collection with the model-slash-DJ. Abellan modeled for the Parisian label summer 2017 lookbook.
