Fashion Scout unveils SS19 Ones to Watch

Aucarre, Nous Etudions and Price on Request have been announced as the three winners of Fashion Scout’s Ones to Watch Award, and will be presenting their collections in a dedicated catwalk show during London Fashion Week in September.
They join a long list of designers who have been supported by Fashion Scout, the international showcase for emerging brands, including Eudon Choi, Phoebe English, Typical Freaks and Joanna Berling.
This season will see three winners presented in a group showcase in the Vestibule Catwalk Hall for the first time in the history of the award. Aucarre, Nous Etudions and Price on Request will present their SS19 collections to an audience of buyers and media representatives.
Aware of today’s wants and needs, Price on Request is a multi-gender brand established by Croatian designer Gala Marija Vrbanic. It focuses on clean oversized silhouettes and its prices adapt to demand, with the price of an item increasing by a percentage every time the style is purchased to accentuate its exclusivity.
AuCarre is the brand of twin sisters Eirini and Dimitra, who share an interest in hand drawn digital print and knit. Their previous experience working at labels such as Mary Katrantzou, Gucci and Chanel permeates their design approach, with bold silhouettes, romanticism and atmospheric design being central to their creations.
Argentine designer Romi Cardillo is behind Nous Etudions, a brand whose philosophy is linked to sustainability, veganism and non-gender traditions. It has been recognised by YOOX as ‘The Next Green Talent’, as it gives the experimentation of handmade textiles a new twist with a monochromatic colour palette and oversized silhouttes.
“This season’s Ones to Watch truly demonstrates what the award was created to showcase and we are excited to have on board this season a designer who has been recognised for their vegan and ethical inspired work,” said Fashion Scout Founder and Director Martyn Roberts.
“We have a bold and colourful eclectic mix of designers from around the world making Ones To Watch the highlight of the SS19 schedule.”
