Faustine Steinmetz awarded Cotton USA sponsorship for A/W15

Published

French, London-based designer Faustine Steinmetz was revealed last week as the latest recipient of Cotton USA sponsorship. The designer is known for her innovative materials and fabric processing - all her fabrics are spun, dyed and woven in Steinmetz' East London studio.

Doubtless it's this attention to detail and respect for the origin of her pieces that drew Cotton USA's attention to Steinmetz, who will present her collection on Saturday February 21st.

Steinmetz says: "It is hugely important for me to know where my materials come from and to know that they have been responsibly produced. That's why it has been great to work with Cotton USA, as I know they share my beliefs and their support has been absolutely amazing so far."

Cotton USA promotes US cotton fiber and manufactured cotton products around the globe, and has previously sponsored designers including Richard Nicholl, Meadham Kirchoff and PPQ for London Fashion Week. All the designers they sponsor work extensively with cotton.
