Foot Locker appoints new Senior Vice President and Chief of Human Resources

New York-based athletic retailer Foot Locker has announced that Elizabeth S. Norberg will be the company's new Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer, effective September 17.

In her new role, Norberg will oversee human resources development in 45,000 Foot Locker, Inc. associates worldwide and manage the organization's strategy for acquiring and retaining employees.
"We are very pleased to have Elizabeth join us and to lead this key part of our business," said Richard Johnson, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Her significant experience within the hospitality and entertainment industry gives her unique insights that will help strengthen our industry-leading team in the rapidly evolving retail environment."
Norberg brings 25 years of experience within human resources to the company, previously holding leadership roles at RLH Corporation, Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., and Northwell Health. Before joining Foot Locker, she was the Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Loews Hotels & Co.
