Fred by Fred Segal debuts its first collection August 15

Fred Segal will debut its inaugural apparel line, Fred by Fred Segal, on August 15 at select stores. Designed by Shaun Hurley, the Fall 2016 collection features wardrobe staples for men, women and children, including custom made distressed t-shirts, designer denim, cashmere and body suits priced from $50 to $425.

 
Inspired by the Los Angeles landscape, Fred by Fred Segal draws inspiration from musicians and celebrities living in LA in the seventies, as well as the city’s casual luxury aesthetic. Each piece is custom made and is washed and distressed to give it a vintage feel.

 
Talking about his approach, Hurley said, “I took cues from the hidden gems and secret spots of LA. Fred has special stitching and hidden brand elements designed to be discovered. As the city of LA unfolds to those in the know, so does Fred.”
