Gareth Pugh collaborates with Melissa for 10-year anniversary

British fashion designer Gareth Pugh, known for his avant garde, often monochrome designs, has once again teamed up with Brazilian footwear brand Melissa, which he first designed a collection for in 2011.

Pugh will show a retrospective of his designs, featuring major archive looks, at the Galeria Melissa London, with the event opening on February 10. The retrospective will remain at the Galeria through May 2015.

Visitors will be able to see 6-8 strong Pugh archive looks, all styled with Melissa shoes, as well as a graphic, monochromatic backdrop directed by filmmaker Ruth Hogben.

This February also sees Pugh return to show at London Fashion Week for the first time since 2008. He will show at the Victoria & Albert Museum at 8pm on February 21st, with Melissa as a headline sponsor.

This is the first installation in the Galeria Melissa London gallery space.
