Garrett Leight and Want Les Essentiels launch first collaboration eyewear
Garrett Leight California Optical and Want Les Essentiels unveiled this month their very first capsule collection. The limited edition collaboration collection launches this month at fine retailers and at the brands’ respective stores and websites.
The collection consists of two frames and one sun clip. The two brands partnered to create a special version of GLCO’s Wilson frame featuring signature details that are unique to each brand and shared by each brand, such as the alternating gold and silver detail on GLCO eyewear hinges and on Want Les Essentiels zippers. The designers aimed to create a universal sunglass frame that can be worn by both men and women.
The sunglasses are available in black leather lens trim with as oil/vinegar acetate temples and mocha leather lens trim with matte demi tortoise acetate temples. Each frame can be paired with a sun clip and feature the Want Les Essentiels and GLCO logos.
The Want Les Essentiels x Garrett Leight California Optical capsule collection will be sold at GLCO stores in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York City, Want Les Essentiels in New York City, and online at each brands’ respective websites. The frames are priced at $525 and the sun clip retails for $235.
