Givaudan uses US publisher Abrams to release new fragrance industry book
Swiss based fragrance and flavor company Givaudan is releasing a book in collaboration with US based publisher Abrams to chronicle 250 years of work in the fragrance industry.
“An Odyssey of Flavours and Fragrances” is being published by US based Abrams, which is owned by the French publisher Editions de La Martinière. The book dives into Givaudan’s role in creating prestige perfumes, consumer products, food and beverages over its 250 year history, chronicling the work with artful photography.
“The foods we savour and the fragrances that surround and delight us are at the heart of what it is to be human. This book is our invitation to everyone to discover the profound impact smell and taste has on so many facets of our life,” said Givaudan CEO Gilles Andrier.
The book will be available on March 10, 2016, and will tour at Givaudan sites globally so consumers and media alike can engage in the experience that celebrates the flavor and fragrance industry.
