Guess by Marciano is shaking things up by changing its name to Marciano Guess. “The change marks our desire to reposition the line as Guess’ most exclusive collection with a contemporary and clean image, all whilst remaining loyal to the brand’s roots,” commented the company.

Having changed its name in the United States several years back, the transformation is now coming into effect in Europe with the launch of its autumn/winter campaign, which was shot by fashion photographers Hunter&Gatti in Malibu. The campaign feature models Letizia Zuloaga and Amanda Streich, as well Simon Clark who is the face of Marciano Guess menswear.

Marciano Guess was created in the nineties by Paul Marciano to complement the company’s existing jean and ready-to-wear collections with a more classic and chic offering. At the same time, the group introduced the first Marciano stores, were much more elegant than the already-established Guess stores. “The name Guess by Marciano created confusion amongst customers. The objective is to really distinguish between the two brands and help push development for them both,” said Guess at their headquarters in Lugano in Switzerland.
