H&M to expand its e-commerce in Europe

H&M announced on Tuesday that it will be intensifying its e-commerce expansion with the opening of eight new online stores in Europe.

"We are planning on opening online stores in Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, and Slovakia in 2015," the group announced in a press release.

In 2014, H&M opened four large online stores in France, Spain, Italy and China. Online purchasing is already available in nine countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

The chain has also announced the opening of stores in India, Peru, South Africa and Taiwan in 2015.

H&M manages 3,300 stores and plans on opening another 375 in the year.
