H&M to open landmark store in New York’s Herald Square

Opening their biggest store yet, Hennes & Mauritz (H&M) is inviting customers for a blowout ceremony, complete with a music concert.

Historic retail hub Herald Square will house the monumental shop in New York City, and starting at noon on May 20, the store will open to the tunes of music icon John Legend in a special performance.

Located on the southwest corner of 34th Street, the crossing of Broadway and Avenue of the Americas, Herald Center is considered one of the most popular shopping destinations in the world.

The new H&M will be located on the 13th floor of the Herald Center, occupying 63,000 square feet.
