H&M top fashion employer for women in US: Forbes

Fashion retail company H&M has been listed as the best employer for women in the US under the clothing category by the American magazine, Forbes.

H&M


The overall ranking of the company on the Forbes Best Employers for Women list is 23. It is followed by Tilly’s Surf and Skate Clothing (26), Levi Strauss & Co (37) and Michael Kors Holdings (47).

H&M has been valued at $26.7 billion. The company’s products include sportswear, apparel for men, women and kids and underwear among other things.

The other clothing companies that made it to this Forbes list include Gap, Buckle, REI, LVMH and Hot Topic. These were followed by Foot Locker, New Balance, PVH, VF, Ascena Retail Group and Nike.

Online marketplace Amazon was included in the list under the retail and wholesale category and has earned the 269th position. Ebay also found a place on the list at number 292.
