Happy Socks is set to open its first US flagship store on December 18 at 448 West Broadway in New York City.

The Swedish sock label, which celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2018, had previously occupied the SoHo retail space for the launch of its women’s sock line, Hysteria, this year.
Palamon Capital Partners acquired Happy Socks for $81 million at the top of 2017, which helped the brand expand its product offering and spurred it’s increased focus on the US market. The brand decided to officially set its flag in the 518-square-foot space, following the opening of its first US subsidiary in September.
The Happy Socks New York City flagship store will offer styles from the label’s fall 2017 collection and the new Hysteria by Happy Socks line, as well as limited-edition pieces from collaborations with The Beatles and New York City-based tattoo artist Megan Massacre.
Happy Socks will end 2017 with a solid foundation in the US, which will make way for the introduction of new products expected to be added to its product offering, such as athletic socks and dress socks, as well as for two to three more stores slated to open in 2018.
