Herschel Supply Co appoints new director of sales

Herschel is revving up its management team. After hiring a creative director in March, the Canadian bag and accessories brand has now recruited a new director of global sales.

Charles Russell will oversee worldwide sales of the brand founded in 2009 by the Cormack brothers.

The executive previously served as senior vice president for Vancouver-based cycling apparel brand Sugoi.

Charles Russell started working in the industry in the mid-90s for the American sports apparel and equipment manufacturer Easton-Bell. Subsequently, he held positions as director of sales for brands such as Cannondale cycling and Rocky Mountain.

Herschel is currently reorganizing to better respond to market needs in different areas, adding new hires in both finance and design. Recently the company was looking for a director of operations.
