Hollister to open in United Arab Emirates via joint venture

Abercrombie & Fitch has created a joint-venture with Majid Al Futtaim to introduce the Hollister brand to United Arab Emirates. Majid Al Futtaim is a local retail giant and works with Carrefour in the Middle East.

The Fashion division of Majid Al Futtaim, which also works with Juicy Couture and Hoss Intropia, will lead the development of the brand in major cities in the United Arab Emirates such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain.

The two companies are also in the process of finalising a second entity in the hopes of launching an Abercrombie & Fitch store in the United Arab Emirates in 2014.
