Hugo Boss ends partnership with BinHendi
Jan 11, 2016
Hugo Boss has ended a 29-year-long partnership for the Indian market with Dubai-based firm BinHendi after it considered the distribution company would not be able to keep pace with the fashion labels’ growth rate.

Instead, Hugo Boss will continue to work with Luxury Genesis, which has led the Indian entry of international luxury labels such as Paul Smith, Bottega Veneta and Jimmy Choo.
The move follows a string of other international brands that have ended their relations with Indian partners to move to new countries where sales and profits are more likely to increase. Labels such as ST Dupont and Brioni are a case in point.
Meanwhile, BinHendi landed a new deal with Italian brand Billionaire. Established since 1974, the operator is one of UAE’s leading and most respected business conglomerates working with brands such as MSGM, Joseph and Jil Sander.
