Icebreaker creates Europe marketing director position

The New Zealand outdoors brand, specialised in merino wool products, has appointed Caroline Faidherbe to the newly created position of Europe marketing director.

Previously marketing director at the adidas group, where she ran the show for 10 years, Caroline Faidherbe's task will notably be to optimise the European marketing programmes aimed at consumers and distributors. She will be based at Icebreaker's European head office in Starnberg, Germany.

Europe accounts for 45% of Icebreaker's activity and the brand is currently sold in 5,000 points of sale across 50 countries.
