IFF names Richard O’Leary EVP and CFO

International Flavors & Fragrances announced on Tuesday the appointment of Richard O’Leary to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He will succeed Allison A. Cornell, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

 
O’Leary has worked 30 years in key finance leadership roles most recently as IFF Senior Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since 2015. He joined IFF in 2007 and served as VP, Corporate Development, Interim CFO and VP and Corporate Controller.
 
Prior to IFF, O’Leary worked at Arthur Young & Co. and spent 21 years at International Paper Company in finance leadership roles.

The appointment follows IFF’s acquisition of David Michael & Company, Inc. that was announced on October 7. IFF will begin the process of merging David Michael and IFF-Ottens Flavors.
