J Brand collaborates with Bella Freud

Denim experts J brand has partnered with with london-based fashion designer Bella Freud, to create a capsule collection for fall 2017.

Baptized J Brand x Bella Freud, the 25-piece, 10-look collection is comprised of various denim styles, including two jeans, a jacket, skirt, and jumpsuit in mid to dark indigos and black denim.

The collection embodies Bella’s whimsical spirit and aesthetic. Items such as a low-rise relaxed straight leg and high-waisted tailored wide-leg jean are also a nod to her favourite denim fits from the 70’s, as well as her tomboy youth.

“A girl in a cool pair of jeans is like botticelli’s venus – as though she has invented this look for the first time, you never get tired of watching her. I am excited to be collaborating with the kings of denim, J Brand to create some sexy and desirable looks for aw17,” says Bella Freud in a news statement.

J Brand has previously collaborated with various international and emerging designers including 2013 BFC emerging designer winner Simone Rocha, the New York womenswear duo Proenza Schouler and London-based designer Christopher Kane.

The J Brand x Bella Freud collection will be available across global locations and online, as of July 25. Photos of the capsule are not yet available.
