The new Jennifer Meyer boutique will be a 500 square foot shop in the larger Palisades Village by Caruso. It will showcase the designer's classic gold jewelry, which includes delicate drop earrings, monogram necklaces and bracelets.

Currently Meyer runs her business through her e-commerce site as well as through department store distribution. Her minimalist gold jewelry is sold at Barneys New York and Net-a-porter. She has been selective in her distribution partners thus far and has focused on differentiating her customer from the larger department store consumer.

Growing up in Malibu, Meyer is familiar with the retail opportunities up the coast from LA and was enticed by the chance to put down her retail roots on the coast. She said previous locations did not feel right and that "There’s just not a lot there between the Malibu Country Mart and the Brentwood Country Mart."

To that end, Meyer said the new Palisades Village offers an attractive mix of tenants. According to the brand, "The first Jennifer Meyer boutique will be opening next summer."

Palisades Village is the latest retail development from Caruso. Other Caruso projects around LA include The Grove, The Americana at Brand and The Commons at Calabasas.

The entire Palisades project will cover 125,000 square feet of development. It will include outdoor dining, independent merchants and unique brands. There will be a specialty grocer, a movie theater and public parks designed to complement upscale coastal living.

Palisades Village will create a retail destination around Swarthmore Avenue in Pacific Palisades. The revitalized space is scheduled to open all at once in the summer of 2018.
