Jeremy Scott sends up NY with erotic 'Slime City'

Jeremy Scott, the pop art bad boy of American fashion, on Monday unveiled an erotic collection for spring, featuring bondage gear and flying saucer skirts on the New York catwalk.

The Los Angeles-based designer, who is also creative director of Italy's Moschino, found inspiration in the Big Apple, sending out the first model with "New York" written in hot pink on a black sweater and dubbing the collection "Slime City" -- the 1988 comedy-horror flick.

Beloved by his Moschino-wearing followers for his bold, colorful and witty designs, it was a packed house on day five of fashion week with Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Ali Raisman and actress Teyonah Parris in the front row.

The collection was largely about erotica. There were bra tops, a key trend of the season, his with zips dangling suggestively from each cup, and the dominatrix look on one model dressed in black with a dog-collar style necklace, the metal lead hanging down to her waist.

"Rated X" was printed onto a black T-shirt paired with a black leather mini-skirt that had three zips up the front, one down the middle and two at an angle drawing the eye towards the crotch.

There was a black leather halter neck dress, slashed to reveal an orange underlay making it look like the woman was on fire, as well as a scarlet leather trench coat.

The smoldering face of a blonde with red pouty lips was printed on a light, white pleated skirt, or on the front of sweaters.

For men, there was a black shirt with the image of women's stockinged legs in high heels up the front by the buttons.

For evening, Scott used all the theatrical flair that has seen him create costumes for Rihanna and Britney Spears to present a hot pink sequined catsuit and purpled sequined dress with a flying saucer skirt.

For fans of lime green, there was a dress that mimicked the New York city skyline in white bubble art. Or for the truly outlandish, there was a bag shaped and printed like a giant tube of toothpaste.
