John Fluevog launches special Canada 150 shoes

Canadian footwear brand John Fluevog has launched limited edition versions of its bestselling shoes to commemorate Canada's 150 birthday.
 
The limited edition shoes include The Heal, a classic dress shoe for women, and the Brandenburg, a classic capped toe shoe for men. Both pairs have been updated with a red and white colour scheme – Canada’s national colours - custom leather soles with beaver imagery, and maple leaf brogueing.  
 

Only 150 pairs of each style exist and each have been hand-signed and numbered by John Fluevog himself.
 
The limited edition shoes can be found in all Canadian Fluevog stores. South of the border, the Brandenburg can be found at their Washington DC store, as well as at John Fluevog's San Francisco Haight store, alongside The Heal. 

The Vancouver-based brand who’s been around for over 45 years is joining a number of other Canadian and non-Canadian brands who have jumped on the Canadian sesquicentennial bandwagon with limited edition merchandise.
 
Most recently, French luxury brand Hermès launched a limited edition scarf to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary.
 
Fellow Canadian brand Roots equally launched a campaign as part of the celebrations.
