John Fluevog launches The Fluevog Artist Grant

Canadian footwear brand John Fluevog is paying it forward with the launch of a $10,000 grant for emerging artists.
 
Baptized The Fluevog Artist Grant, the fund aims to support the growth and development of untapped creative talent in Canada.
 

“I’ve been fortunate enough to find success largely thanks to support from a large group of fans who are passionate about artistic freedom and creative originality,” said John, in a news statement. “We’re very excited to be able to turn the tables a bit and see what kind of unique talents and projects we can help shine a light on.”
 
The award is open to a variety of visual artists including but not limited to photographers, illustrators, sculptors, and others.

John Fluevog is currently accepting applications at Fluevog.com/community/artist-grant/
from Canadian residents and citizens. Applications will be accepted until July 31.
 
The company says its plans to launch a future iteration in the USA.
