To develop this first textile line, the American group whose portfolio includes about a dozen brands that specialize in ski equipment and leisure products, including K2 Skis and K2 Snowboarding and has expanded its team of designers and brand developers.

Mark Valdez, a former product developer at Nike, has joined the group as Outerwear Product Director, David Peterson, a former developer of lines for Eddie Bauer, as Category Merchandising Manager, and Diane Egnatz, also formerly of Eddie Bauer, as Senior Outerwear Developer.

The skier Eric Pollard, who collaborated on the textile’s development, has signed a five-year contract with the brand’s first textile.
